Richard Marx，1963年6月16日出生于美国芝加哥。Richard Marx曾经多次荣获各种奖项。1987年，《滚石》杂志授予其“最佳男声新星奖”。1988年，《演艺》杂志授予其“最佳艺术新人奖”。1988年和1989年，他两度夺得格莱美“最佳摇滚男声演唱”大奖。1990年1月，Richard Marx被美国音乐界评为“最受欢迎男歌星”。
